Training
Lotus Beauty Training was set up in early, 2020.
All courses delivered by myself are fully accredited by Professional Beauty Direct, so you will be able to gain the relevant insurance upon completion and award of your certificate.
I am as passionate about providing good quality training as I am about doing the treatments on my clients. I want to pass that and all my knowledge on to new fresh faced students and help them start a new journey or treatment.
I'm one of the educators for the award winning Jades Jones Academy, and train in all their courses such as the Brows, Premade Lashes as well as Lash Lift, Classic & Russian Volume. Details of these can be found on the Jade Jones website, and booked directly there.
I also offer Manicure & Gel Polish training under my own brand, along with new 1-2-1 bespoke Nail Art classes. All bookings are done with myself for these.
My training setting is set up for 2 students at any one time, as I like to give as much of my attention to each student as I can, and also as I train from home.
There is lots of available free parking, and located close to junction 8 of the M1.
Lunch or light snacks and refreshments are provided on each training course, depending on duration.

Beginners Manicure - £295
1.5 days
Day 1: 10-5pm Theory & Practical
Day 2: 10-12.30pm Practical Assessment
Course includes:
- Fully accredited manual
- Full Manicure kit
- Theory, Demos & Practical inc massage technique
- Lunch provided
- Continued support & added to the private student Facebook group
Day 1 - Full theory work inc. massage. Demo & full manicure on each other.
Day 2 - Recap on theory followed by Practical manicure assessment on your model.
You must provide a model for day 2 assessment.
Students must come with bare nails as they will be working on themselves/each other. The educator will assess the student throughout the day and will only award a certificate at the end of day 2 if they feel confident the student is competent enough to perform the treatment safely and correctly.
Gel Polish - £450
1 day - 10-5pm
(must hold a manicure certificate)
Course Includes:
- Fully accredited manual
- Professional brand Gel Kit, including UV lamp
- Full theory work and demos
- Practical work covering prep, application (Red and French), removal & aftercare
- Lunch provided
- Continued support & added to the private student Facebook group
Students must come with bare nails as they will be working on themselves. The educator will assess the student throughout the day and will only award a certificate at the end if they feel confident the student is competent enough to perform the treatment safely and correctly.
1-2-1 Nail Art - £80
4 Hours
Class details:
- Bespoke classes, showing areas of art/techniques that the technician wants to learn (pre arranged)
- Max 5 nail tips
- Own kit/brand used
- Certificate of Attendance and mini goodie bag included
You will be required to let me know what things you would like to cover prior to training so I can arrange the lesson plan, and advise what kit list you will need to bring with you.
Lash Lift - £275
1 day - 10-2.30pm
(no pre-requisites required)
Course includes:
- Fully accredited manual
- Full kit for 10 treatments
- Covering theory and a demo
- Continued support & added to the private student Facebook group
- Light snacks provided
You will need to arrange a model for the afternoon practical
Once you have completed your training you will be required to complete 4 case studies and send these over individually for assessment. Once these have been passed your certificate will be sent out to you.
Premade Lashes inc Classic - £450
1.5 days
Day 1: 9.30-5pm – Theory & Practical.
Day 2: 10– 12.15pm – Practical once 5 case studies have been completed.
Course Includes:
- Fully accredited manual, plus Jade's Illusion styling manual.
- Full kit included
- Covering Classic application as well as Premade
- Theory based learning followed by manual practical on mannequin heads, sponges, hair strands & live model
- 1 hour lunch (provided)
- Continued support & added to the private student Facebook group
You will need to arrange a model for your practical session/s.
Once you have completed your training you will be required to complete 5 case studies and send these over for assessment & if required will be invited back to do a practical assessment. Once these have been passed your certificate will be sent out to you.
Beginners Classic Lash Extensions - £450
1.5 days
Day 1: 9.30-5pm – Theory & Practical.
Day 2: 10– 12.15pm – Practical once 5 case studies have been completed

Russian Volume Extensions - £450
(must hold classic lash certificate)

Day 1: 9.30-5pm – Theory & Practical.
Day 2: 10– 12.15pm – Practical once 5 case studies have been completed.

- Full kit included
- Theory based learning followed by manual practical on mannequin heads, sponges, hair strands & live model
- 1 hour lunch (provided)

Precision Brows - £275
1 day 10-2pm
(perfect for beginners)
Course Includes:
- Fully accredited manual
- Theory, demos & practical covering brow mapping, tinting & waxing
- Full kit included
- Light snacks provided
- Continued support & added to the private student Facebook group
You must provide a model for the practical session.
Students are required to complete case studies, and we advise to try models with both fair and dark hair. Certificates will be sent out once we have passed your case studies and feel confident your able to perform the treatment safely & correctly.
Brow Lamination - £350
1 day - 10-4pm
(must be qualified in basic brow wax & tint)
Course Includes:

- Theory, demos & practical
- Full kit included

- Continued support & added to the private student Facebook group

Combined Brows - £650
1 day - 10-6pm
Course Includes:
- Fully accredited manual
- Theory, demos & practical covering brow mapping, tinting, waxing & Brow Lamination
- Full kit included
- 1 hour lunch (provided)
- Continued support & added to the private student Facebook group
You must provide 2 models for the practical sessions.
Students are required to complete case studies, and we advise to try models with both fair and dark hair. Certificates will be sent out once we have passed your case studies and feel confident your able to perform the treatment safely & correctly.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure any course booking. The balance will be required 7 days prior to training date. If you need to change the date of your course for any reason, we do require 14 days notice.
You must arrange a live model for training were required, if you are having a problem with this then please let us know at the earliest possible moment so we can try to find a stand in. If this is not possible, then you will be asked to come back.
Mentoring
We can cover any topic areas that you wish to improve on and these can be on a 1-2-1 basis and tailored for you.
You must already be qualified in what you would like mentoring on.
A minimum of 2 hours must be booked.
Prices are £50 per hour.
In house mentoring can be arranged and POA.
